3 Stars of the Week: 10/11

October 11, 2011

Stars of the Week

Overall it was a somewhat disappointing week with the Bruins going 1-2 and Northeastern only grabbing a point, nonetheless here are our 3 Stars of the Week.

1st Star
Rich Peverley, Bruins
3 GP, 2-0-2

His 2 goals on Saturday were huge for the B’s, but its been his overall game that’s impressed. He has been given a chance to play on the 2nd line and he has taken full advantage of it. He is using his speed effectively and bringing energy to the team.

2nd Star
Justin Daniels, Northeastern
2 GP, 2-0-2

After not scoring at all last season, Daniels wasted no time getting on the board this season. In addition to the goals, he moved the puck very well and looked a lot more confident then he did last year.

3rd Star
Mark Loh, Reptar on Ice
1 GP, 4-1-5
4 goals in a must win game was instrumental for Reptar. He provided a spark and really got the whole offense going. It was his best game for Reptar. And he looked great doing it thanks to the new jerseys.
