As another weekend of games approaches, lets look at whats going on with the rest of the teams in Hockey East.

- Fight Mass takes the time to respond to some criticism from BU. Some good old-fashioned BU Hate is always appreciated and enjoyed around here.
- Staying with UMass, they look likely to get Jeff Teglia and Danny Hobbs back from injury this weekend. (via Fear the Triangle)
- BC is ranked number 1 in the country and coming off a big win against North Dakota. (via BC Interruption). The Eagles will visit Matthews next Saturday.
- Over on Comm Ave, Kieran Millan looks to have overcome his poor performance in the exhibition game. (via The Boston Hockey Blog). This should put to rest any threat of a goalie controversy.
- Over at the Ice is Life (Lowell) they are just eager to open their season this weekend.
- Merrimack has locked up a new local TV deal. (via Warrior Rink Rat)
- UNH, who the Huskies play Friday, is dealing with a young and inexperienced defense. (via College Hockey News)
- There are just 4 conferences games this week. Friday: UNH at NU and BU at PC; Saturday: UMass at PC and BC at UNH; Maine and UMass Lowell are out west for 2 games (at North Dakota and Minnesota State, respectively); BC and BU will both hosted Denver one night. UMass takes on Bentley and Merrimack faces Army; Vermont will play the US Under-18 team in an exhibition.
